Workload for girls?

Another thing that we should consider when discussing #DanceMoms is the amazing people that those young ladies really are...ALL of them! <3

Another occupational hazard of being on Dance Moms for the girls is the stress and workload. By Season 2, the young performers spent many hours in dance classes, rehearsals, extra filming, at competitions, as well as lengthy travel time. Shooting of the 28 episodes occurred in approximately 26 weeks of the year.

This includes each girl generally learning one or two new dances per episode. Additionally, the girls frequently make other celebrity appearances, such as at commercial ticket events ("Master Classes" and "Meet-and-Greets").

PLUS they have to maintain their education and their grades. Many of the girls are now homeschooled..at least part time. They all have a tutor when they travel, too.

Did any of you know how much work was involved in just a single episode of #DanceMoms? That's partially because of the 45+ hours of shooting that goes into each 45 minute episode. Why?

Because there is SO much editing involved! Like I have stated and restated. It's a great television show, but if you're looking for reality, you may wanna' look somewhere else...
