Lux video & Drop Dead Diva

In "There's Only One Star," although Maddie and Melissa seemed a little sad about Maddie not getting selected for the lead, Abby tells Melissa that she should be happy that Chloe got the lead. She said that the lead didn't really dance in the video, but Maddie did, and that some producer would see her dance and snatch her up. Abby, also, said how proud she was of Chloe. It was, also, stated repeatedly that they were looking for someone who LOOKED like Lux.

The same could be true of Maddie's performance on "Drop Dead Diva." Many say that she was pre-selected for the role.

Do you think that it was sincere on Abby's part that she was happy that Maddie didn't get selected for the Lux video?

Do you agree that the primary factor for Chloe's selection was because she looked like a young Lux, since she really didn't have to dance for the lead?
