Melissa harassed by other moms?

The moms had allegedly made an agreement for their kids not to go to Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition if they were asked, but Melissa decided to send her girls anyway. The result is that the other moms got angry at her for "betraying" the group.

Later, the moms go to Kelly's house and Jill agrees with Melissa and says that if Kendall had been asked to perform, that she would have sent her. This angers Christi and Kelly.

My point is, why does Melissa have to answer to anyone when she is making a decision for her daughters?

Do you think that her sending the girls to AUDC was really anybody else's business?
